leveraging its Core Base Business unit that has commercialized over
60 products in the virology and cell culture technologies, in order
to finance its more-lucrative large-market pipeline of products.
These include: Kinlytic (Urokinase), VIRUSMAX™ (Virus Yield
Enhancement Technology), and LumiSort™ (livestock sex selection
technology). Tthe Company has also established a JV in Hunan, China
for the manufacture and distribution of influenza vaccines using
VIRUSMAX™ technology.
Microbix
is focused on parlaying its expertise in virology and antigens,
combined with key acquisitions, into biotechnology opportunities in
large market areas, and is
on the threshold of moving from the potential phase into commercial

technologies, it will need partners to take them to commercialization

require additional financing, and Microbix intends to raise the
necessary capital through various structures, partnerships, and
profit sharing, and thus relieve the core virology business from
continued financial encumbrances
