I am impressed with the service provided by TheSmallCapInvestor.com.  As background, I purchase stocks for my own account which has 25 positions in junior mining, junior energy and small caps.  For 2009 the account was up 210%.  In my financial planning practice, I purchase the same stocks for 20% of a few registered client accounts with a high growth objective managed on a discretionary basis.  These accounts would have 5 stocks equally weighted. 

I like the reports from Fundamental Research Corp and have recently purchased a few of their stocks.  My stock focus is on undervalued junior resource companies with catalysts to allow a double within 12 months. I am sensitive to risk looking for cash, securities, royalties, and other assets to limit the downside to 50%.

The quality of Fundamental Research’s reports is as good as the publications I get from Agora Financial, The Speculative Investor, and Casey Research. Fundamental Research’s detailed analysis helps me access the quality of a junior resource company’s projects, management, financials, and catalysts. In addition I especially like the financial analysis behind their stock price targets.
